One proxy per line. Blank lines and # comments are ignored. Accepted: host:port, host:port:user:pass, user:pass@host:port, http://user:pass@host:port, socks5://… (needs PySocks). Add |label to name one.

For providers that serve a live list over an API. Paste the URL they give you — not the whole curl command, and not a proxy itself (those go in the box below). Plaintext and JSON responses both work; the list is pulled straight from the provider, never through the pool. Fetching fills the box below so you can review it before saving.

Credentials are stored in plain text in proxies.json beside this script, on this machine only. Rotating exit IPs is what gets around Frontier's HTTP 406 throttle — it very likely breaches their terms of use, so that call is yours. Each IP stays paced independently, so adding proxies widens the scan rather than hammering any single address.
